Children

In Whitfield Parish we believe there is no age limit on discipleship.  That is why our aspiration with children’s groups is not simply to entertain the children but to help them discover for themselves what it means to follow Jesus and become more like him. Kingdom Kids 4-11 (Primary School Age)

Sunday St Luke’s 10:00am
Sunday St James’ 10:30am
On Sundays (apart from the fourth Sunday where we worship together as a church family) we run structured activities in age related groups from primary age, as well as providing crèche facilities for the very young.
At both churches the children start in the service and then go out to their groups to be collected at the end of the service by the parents or carers. The sessions’ aims are to help our children grow in God through quality experiences that are engaging, fun and meaningful; hoping they make some friends to share this with along the way.

Crèche 0-4(pre-school)

Sunday St James’ 10:30am
Crèche is structured to engage the very young of our church community in God through crafts, songs and Bible stories. Parents are very welcome to stay with their children if they would like.
