Children & Families

Welcome! Children and families are a really important part of our church and we have lots going on. Find out more on this page and come along. If you have any questions, you can contact Heather Kindleysides, our Children & Families Leader using the Contact Us page.

Summer Activities 2022

Whilst Sunday groups and 6:30 Kids takes a break for the summer, there are some special events that have been planned. All are welcome to join us for the following:

Family Fun Night and ‘Who Let the Dads Out’ both take place at The Vineyard. If you have any questions about the above events, please contact Heather via the Contact Us page.

Kingdom Kids – Sundays

Kingdom Kids is for primary school aged children and runs each Sunday at 10.45am at The Vineyard. Parents/carers can drop children off, head over for the service at St James’ Church, and then collect them when the service is finished. Kingdom Kids is all about having fun together, learning more about the Bible and Jesus with crafts, stories and activities.

Kingdom Kiddies is an interactive time for 2-4 year olds which we run during the 11am Service at St James’ in a room off our main worship area. We’d love your child to join us, but if you prefer to keep your child with you during the service, then feel free to do so – children are very welcome!

For younger ones, there is a small soft play area in St James’ worship area and a Baby Zone room with changing facilities – all of which you’re welcome to use during the service. Please don’t worry about them making a noise!

Newbies

We have a Toddler Group in the Vineyard for pre-school children and their carers, every Tuesday at 10am. Find out more here

6-30 Kids

6-30 Kids is a fantastic midweek club for primary school aged children…

Messy Church

Messy Church is a great way to have fun, explore faith and enjoy some food together as families. We run it on about 3 Sundays each term in the Vineyard. If you’ve got children who are under-11s, then come and join us. You’ll be really welcome!

Youth Work

We also have activities for young people of secondary age – find out more on our Youth Page.
